Tour Reports
USA: Red Flag NAS Fallon & Nellis AFB

After a very successful tour in July 2015 to Red Flag 15-3, we return once again to witness the fantastic sight of F-15s, F-16s etc flying low through Death Valley. Read Graham Dinsdale’s report. Its not too late to book on our next trip, take a look at our itinerary for Novembers tour.
USA: NAF El Centro, MCAS Yuma & NAWS China Lake Airshows

A great opportunity to visit three air shows on one tour, El Centro Air Show, MCAS Yuma Air Show and NAWS China Lake NAS who, after 20 years opened its doors to the public! Glenn Stanley was our tour manager on this occasion, read his report.
USA: Aircraft Storage Yards of New Mexico, Texas, Arizona & California & LAX Airport

A trip taking in the scrap yards of Tucson, the excellent War Eagles Museum to name but a few. Robbie Shaw took this group, read his interesting report and, as you will see on the spur visit’s can pay dividends!
USA: Wings over the Beach

A mixture of museums, an air show and free time in New York, Delaware, Washington D.C and Virginia. Report by Gerry Manning.
FRANCE: NATO Tiger Meet 2017, Landivisiau

Yet another great show by the Big Cats of the NATO Tiger Squadrons! A great day was spent on-base at the official Spotters Day plus 2 full days getting action shots as the aircraft landed over the perimeter fence. Plans are already being made for NTM-18 which will be held on Poznan AB, Poland in May.
FINLAND: 100th Anniversary of Finnish Independence Airshow plus more ....

Two widely different, yet really good, airshows: one over the seafront of Helsinki and the other at a small airfield in the centre of the country. Agreed by all that it was a very worthwhile tour and, in response to requests, we will be visiting more of their fabulous aviation museums in 2018 – during our tour to the large international airshow which is being held in June to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Finnish Air Force.
USA: Oshkosh - The Largest aviation event in the world!

Once again our tour to the world’s largest aviation event was a great success, with those making their first visit to the event overwhelmed at the sheer size and the incredible scope of ‘all things aviation’. A special tour of Basler Turbo Conversions was also very popular: its not every day you get to go around an aircraft production factory and get up close to classic Daks being converted into modern, turbo-powered gun-ships and freighters.
In 2018 we will be offering a short, 4-full days at Oshkosh as well as a longer 7-full days tour. Plus, you can add on to either of them an optional 7-days extension to Grissom Aviation Museum in Peru, Indiana; the huge US Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio; and the National Air and Space – and Steven Udvar Hazy Museum – in Washington DC.
RUSSIA: ARMY 2017

After our first visit to ARMY 17 in August, read Ivo’s tour report of the amazing access to Kubinka Repair Plant. We will be visiting ARMY 18 in August 2018, visit our website for the detailed itinerary and price.
USA: 70th Anniversary of the US Air Force, Nellis AFB & The "Jedi Transition".

Ian Allan’s final Aviation Tour of the year was a trip to California and Nevada. It started with 2 days at the fabulous low level training route through Rainbow Canyon – also known as “The Jedi Transition” – and ended in Las Vegas at the 2-day Nellis AFB “Aviation Nation Air Show” over the Veterans Day weekend.
