Ian Allan Travel was awarded the credential for its effective waste management and recycling procedures. Pat O’Neill, the company’s director of operations, said: "During the review process, environmentally relevant issues were identified and evaluated. We demonstrated how we minimise energy consumption with our waste management and recycling procedures across the trading divisions." Ian Allan Travel has compiled a best green practice manual for employees. It outlines how best to fulfill the obligations of the accreditation.
